Environmental Impact Study : |
|
 |
|
Remarks
LAn impact study is a methodical analysis of the consequences of a development plan.
It involves studying:
- The environmental impact of the plan (on the landscape, natural environment, soil, air, flora and fauna),
- Its socioeconomic impact.
In many cases companies are legally obliged to conduct an impact study (cf. current legislation).
Apart from being required by law, impact studies give the planner and the building owner a better understanding of the social, economic and environmental balance affected by the project.
They are therefore fully appropriate for all responsible owners and developers to ensure that the project contributes to the development of the zone.
LAMY S.A Expertise offers assistance to all public and private parties in completing statutory forms: application for creation of a mixed development zone (ZAC), declaration of public utility.
Other aspects must also be considered:
- Technical assessment and advice concerning industrial or agricultural pollution
- Development and management of utilities and infrastructure (sanitation, water supply etc.)
- Master plans for industrial, tourist, commercial and sanitary development
- Advice regarding town planning and commercial regulations
- Defining and implementing sustainable development policies
- Agenda 21, environment charters or plans
- Environmental diagnosis
- Water, waste, transport, risk management, natural environments
